After a sanctuary’s pond was «destroyed» by the heat wave, four animals were saved.
Following the animals’ entrapment in a silt buildup at the bottom of the dried-up pool at their Hingham location, PACT Animal Sanctuary has now asked for assistance.
After receiving assistance from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, the sanctuary will need to pay several hundred pounds to fill the pool before dredging can begin.
